Platelet-rich fibrin

The method of administering platelet-rich fibrin is 100% safe, as it comes from the patient's own blood, unlike platelet-rich plasma a fine, three-dimensional structure. Platelet-rich fibrin is also obtained differently than plasma – the centrifugation speed is much lower than for platelet-rich plasma, which leads to its complete separation.

The procedure consists of 3 stages. The first stage is drawing blood from a vein in the crook of the elbow. The second stage is centrifuging it in a specialised centrifuge, similar to platelet-rich plasma. The result is obtaining a preparation with a cross-linked, three-dimensional fibrin fibre structure. The preparation contains an appropriate amount of blood platelets and growth factors. The final stage of the procedure is administering the platelet-rich fibrin to the patient, which is done by injection along wrinkle lines or directly into the subcutaneous tissue using the method Needle mesotherapy or using a cannula.

The procedure is not long and is 100%% safe for the patient, as there is no risk of an allergic reaction. Bruising or needle marks may occur after the procedure. 3 to 5 treatments are recommended at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks. After a series of treatments, it is recommended to have maintenance treatments at intervals of 3-6 months.
